Electric Vehicle Option: Perfect for families who want to explore more ground in less time or have members with reduced mobility. This option allows you to visit all three EVOA lagoons and expand your experience to include the estuary, the salt marsh area, and the Sorraia River’s mouth at the iconic Ponta d’Erva. Offering both comfort and convenience, this tour provides a comprehensive view of the estuary’s diverse ecosystem.
Walking Tour Option:
For families looking for a slower-paced experience, walking allows for a deeper connection with nature. The trail, covering up to 3 km, invites you to: listen to bird calls, touch unique salt marsh plants, discover mammal traces and observe various insects along the way.
At the observatories, you’ll enjoy close-up views of birds in the main and shallow lagoons, identifying their characteristics while learning about their stories.
We recommend this option between October and March.
