EVOA was honored with the Star Wetland Award at COP14 Ramsar (November 2022), recognizing its positive impact on wetland management, migratory bird conservation, and community engagement. This award highlights the success of the strategies implemented by Companhia das Lezírias in promoting sustainability and environmental education—areas in which EVOA has played a key role. The recognition underscores the importance of local initiatives that link conservation and community, such as the work carried out at EVOA.
