Located in the Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve, EVOA’s primary mission is the conservation of the estuary and Lezíria avifauna, alongside the protection of the natural and agricultural habitats on which these species depend.

EVOA is managed by Companhia das Lezírias, a historic company dedicated to sustainable agricultural and livestock management. The company owns 18,000 hectares, where innovative land management practices are implemented, integrating agriculture, nature conservation, and tourism.
